Saindhav, directed by Sailesh Kolanu, is a film that tries to blend action and emotion in a dystopian setting. The film revolves around Saindhav Koneru (Venkatesh), a former gangster who has to return to the world of crime to save his daughter Gayathri (Baby Sara) from a rare disease that requires a costly injection. Saindhav has to face his old enemies, including the ruthless Vikas Malik (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), who wants to take revenge on him for a past betrayal.

The film has an interesting premise and a promising cast, but fails to deliver on both counts. The film suffers from a weak script, poor character development, and inconsistent tone. The film tries to be a gritty and realistic action thriller, but also throws in some unrealistic and illogical scenes that defy logic and physics. The film also tries to tug at the heartstrings of the audience, but does not invest enough time and effort in building the emotional bond between the father and the daughter. The film also wastes the talents of some of the actors, especially Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is reduced to a caricature of a villain with a bad accent and a worse wig.

The only saving grace of the film is Venkatesh, who gives a sincere and earnest performance as Saindhav. He carries the film on his shoulders and tries to infuse some life and energy into the dull and dreary proceedings. He also shines in the action sequences, which are well-choreographed and executed. The cinematography by S. Manikandan is also commendable, as he captures the dark and grim atmosphere of the fictional city of Chandraprastha. The music by Santhosh Narayanan is decent, but not memorable.

Saindhav is a film that had the potential to be a gripping and engaging action drama, but ends up being a boring and disappointing mess. The film is a letdown for the fans of Venkatesh and Nawazuddin, who deserve better. The film is not worth your time and money, unless you are a die-hard fan of Venkatesh or action films. Saindhav is a film that you can easily skip and forget.
