Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu
Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu was born on August 9, 1975, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to Smt. Indira Devi and famed Telugu film actor Krishna. Ramesh Babu Ghattamaneni, an actor and producer, has a younger brother named him. Along with Priyadarshini, his younger sister, he also has two older sisters, Padmavathi and actress-producer Manjula Ghattamaneni. Mahesh's paternal grandmother Smt. Durgamma and the rest of his family raised him during the most of his early years in Madras. Mahesh attended St. Bede's School in Chennai for his academics while continuing to attend his father's filming during the summer. From Loyola College in Chennai, Mahesh graduated with honors in commerce. At the age of four, he made his acting debut in the 1979 film Needa, starring his brother Ramesh Babu in a small role.
